Future you is so dang proud

What if this week you gave yourself just 15 to 30 extra minutes each day?

☛ Not for work.

☛ Not for emails.

But for you.

Could you get a quiet moment before the chaos starts?

Could you finally take that morning walk or make it to class?

Could you actually sit and eat breakfast without rushing?

I see you.

I’ve been you.

I am you.

Finding time—especially for exercise—can feel impossible. I’ve worked out at all kinds of odd hours, just searching for 30 minutes of uninterrupted space. And now, with older kids and a different schedule, I wake up at 4 a.m. to move my body and meet an amazing group of early risers.

It is my joy to work out with them. It is my open door—my avenue—to peace, clarity, and consistency before the day starts.

You don’t need to do what I do.

But you do deserve that kind of time for yourself?

Maybe this week, you find your version of that space.

☛ Maybe it’s 15 minutes earlier in the morning.

☛ Maybe it’s going to bed earlier.

☛ Maybe it’s using that 15 minutes to sit quietly with your coffee and nobody needing anything from you.

When you look at the chart below, you’ll see that even 15 minutes a day adds up to 7.5 hours a month—almost a full workday of time, reclaimed.

And yes, I always bring it back to movement—because it changes everything. I’ve seen time and time again that 15 minutes can be the difference between making a workout and missing it. Between feeling strong and feeling stuck.

Even my Opal app—the one I use to block distractions—only gives me 15 minutes of social media access at a time. And every time that break runs out, I’m reminded how fast 15 minutes can disappear. It’s easy to scroll through that time without even realizing it. But when you look at the math? It’s a little gross how much time we’re actually giving away.

This isn’t about guilt. It’s about possibility.

It’s not about feeling bad about lost time. It’s about being excited about the thought of gaining time for you.

So think about it—what would you do with an extra 7.5 hours this month?

☛ Would you finally get back to a consistent workout routine?

☛ Would you take a walk in peace?

☛ Would you sleep more?

☛ Would you sit down and eat a real breakfast?

☛ Would you breathe?

Whatever your answer is—Future You is so dang proud that this month, you made time work for you—and turned small shifts into real momentum.

I’m cheering you on.

xoxo
